My version of a quiche...very tasty!! Ingredients:
1 refrigerated pie shell (or you can make your own) |
2 thick slices of your favorite deli ham, cubed |
1 c swiss cheese, shredded |
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded |
2 tbsp all-purpose flour |
4 large eggs |
1 1/2 c half and half |
1/4 c chopped onions |
pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. 2. In a medium bowl, combine cheeses and flour; mix well. 3. In a large bowl, beat eggs slightly. 4. Add half and half, onions, pepper, ham, and cheese mixture; mix well. 5. Pour into crust line pie pan. 6. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes more or until cooked through. 7. Let stand at least 10 minutes before serving. |
