Ingredients:
cookies
3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups land o lakes butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
frosting
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup land o lakes butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 t.o 3 tablespoons whipping cream
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
2. Combine 1 1/4 cups butter and sugar in large bowl.
3. Beat at medium seed until creamy.
4. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat until well mixed.
5. Reduce speed to low; add flour mixture, a little at a time, beating well after each addition.
6. Divide dough in half.
7. Shape each half into ball; flatten slightly.
8. Wrap each in plastic food wrap; chill at least 1 hour.

10. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface, one-half at a time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), to 1/4-inch thickness.
11. Cut out with 3-inch pumpkin cookie cutter.
12. Place 1 inch apart onto large cookie sheets.
13. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until edges are just beginning to brown and center is set.
14. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack.

16. Combine powdered sugar, 1/3 cup butter and vanilla in medium bowl; beat at low speed adding enough whipping cream for desired frosting consistency.
17. Frost and decorate as desired.
