Halibut With Jager Sauce

Seafood verson of a German classic
Ingredients:
1 lb halibut fillet
1 cup all-purpose flour
salt & pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil or 1/4 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup green onion (sliced)
1 garlic clove
1 1/2 cups mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons red wine (deglaze the pan)
Directions:
1. salt and pepper flour to taste.
2. dredge halibut in flour.
3. fry in oil until golden brown.
4. remove and place in oven to keep warm.
5. Fry green onions in olive oil until they are slightly brown.
6. Add garlic and mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender.
7. Deglaze with red wine.
8. Add Heavy cream and simmer until sauce thinkens so to coat a metal spoon.
