Haitian Pikliz Hot Pickled Veggies

This dish adds a little or alot of kick to any recipe!
Ingredients:
10 scotch bonnet peppers
2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots
1/4 cup thinly sliced onions
4 whole cloves
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups vinegar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 quart size jar
Directions:
1. Cut each pepper into 4 pieces, and keep the seeds
2. Place hot peppers, cabbage, carrots, onion, cloves, and salt in a quart size jar
3. Then add vinegar. & lime juice
4. Close jar tightly and let sit at least 24-48 hours before serving. (The longer it sits, the hotter (spicier) it will be.
5. Serve with meat or fish
