My sisters and I find a reason to open a bottle of wine every time we get together. We sit around in the kitchen, every time in the kitchen, pour generous glasses of wine and chitchat about everything. In the course of flowing chatter, one of us inevitably gets hungry, and we get to cookin. Haes' Crazy Hot Guacamole provides the spice and the zip for any conversation and it's super easy, super fast to make. Family and friends love it and requests it at random events, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Easter. With Cinco De Mayo just around the corner, finally, we have an appropriate occasion to break out the famous guac
Ingredients:
4 avocados, quartered
1 medium red onion, diced
4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
3 roma tomatoes, diced
3 limes, juice of
1 tablespoon cilantro
1 tablespoon dill
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, add avocados, onion, jalapeno peppers, garlic and tomatoes. Drizzle the lime juice evenly. Sprinkle cilantro, dill, salt and pepper.
2. Using a fork, combine all ingredients in large folding motion. For chunky guacamole, don’t over mash the avocados.
3. Serve with chips and tortillas, and of course, beer, wine - the beverage of your choice.
