Ground Beef Crescent Rolls

ground beef and cream cheese wrapped up in flaky crescents.
Ingredients:
4 ounces cream cheese
16 ounce crescent rolls
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 pound ground beef
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a medium skillet, lightly brown beef and drain. While beef is still hot, add cream cheese and stir until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Cool completely.
3. Separate crescent rolls into 16 traingles. Put spoonful of beef mixture into each triangle. Fold over the long sides of pastry to cover beef mixture. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, seam down. Brush with egg.
4. Bake 20 minutes or until crust is golden.
