Grilled Steak And Vegetable Salad

This could easily be an It salad for summertime
Ingredients:
1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing, divided
1 boneless beef sirloin steak (3/4 lb), 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
2 large yellow pepper, cut lengthwise in half
8 cups spring greens or torn mixed salad greens
2 large tomatoes, cut into wedges
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onions
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. Reserve 1/3 cup of the dressing.
3. Brush remaining dressing lightly onto one side of the steak and onto cut sides of the peppers.
4. Place the steak and the peppers on the grill, dressing-sides down.
5. Grill the steak for 5 minutes on each side or until medium doneness (160 F).
6. Grill the peppers for 10 minutes. The peppers do not need turning.
7. Meanwhile, place the greens in 4 serving bowls and top with the tomatoes and the onions.
8. Cut the steak across the grain into thin slices.
9. Cut the peppers into strips.
10. Arrange the steak and peppers over the salads.
11. Drizzle with the reserved 1/3 cup of the dressing.
