Found this in our newspaper. I haven't made it yet, sounds very good. I'm not a beer drinker, I like sweeter cocktails, but if I'm to drink a beer I do like the Hefeweizen. To me itt has a nice mellow taste.
Ingredients:
6 ears corn, shucked
hefeweizen butter(recipe below)
coarse gray sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
hefeweizen butter
6 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup hefeweizen beer
1 tbsp. minced shallot
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. smoked paprika
mix all ingredients together. refrigerate, covered until ready to use. soften a little before spreading on corn.
Directions:
1. For Corn:
2. Assemble 6 sheets heavy-duty aluminum foil, 8x10 inches.
3. Coat each ear of corn in Hefeweizen Butter & season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Wrap in foil & grill over medium heat for 15 minutes, or until kernels are cooked through.
