Grilled Chicken Soup

I was trying to find a new way to used grilled chicken since we have a lot of it in the summer.
Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
6 sprigs fresh thyme
2 carrots
2 celery ribs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
9 ounces wide egg noodles
2 small bay leaves
6 cups homemade chicken stock
Directions:
1. Add salt and pepper to the chicken and then addto the grill. Meanwhile add 2 tablespoons of butter to a saute pan. Add the carrots,and celery and cook until soft(medium high heat).
2. Add the chicken stock, thyme,salt,pepper, wide egg noodles, a bay leaves. Simmer for 15 mins until the noodles are cooked. Add the chicken which should be cubed in small one inch cubes. Add salt and pepper if the salt and pepper I added are not enough for your tastes.
