Green Peas with Pimiento

There's no need to thaw the peas before you start the recipe. Just put the frozen peas directly into the hot pan with the other ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon light stick butter
2 tablespoons slivered almonds
2 1/4 cups frozen petite green peas
1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimiento, drained
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add almonds; cook 2 minutes or until toasted, stirring frequently. Add peas and remaining ingredients; cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
