GREEN PEA SALSA DATED 1974 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Buchanan Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992. This is incredibly good. I have made it on several occasions and it is always eaten right up. Read more . Yummy.
Ingredients:
1 can sweet peas drained
1 can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano drained
4 small green onions sliced
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 small cucumber peeled chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
