Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas

This is my mom's enchilada recipe and is my absolute favorite dish! I prefer to use fresh, hot green chilis but you can substitute them for canned chilis if none are available.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, baked and shredded
1/2 red onion, chopped (to taste)
8 oz. tub of sour cream
1-2 cups shredded cheese
12 corn tortillas
green chilis, chopped (to taste)
Directions:
1. Line the bottom of a baking dish with corn tortillas, cut in strips.
2. Mix sour cream, onion, cheese and chilis in a bowl.
3. Cover tortillas with shredded chicken
4. Cover chicken with sour cream mix
5. Cover with corn tortialls cut in strips and repeat chicken and sour cream layers until gone.
6. Bake at 350 for approx. 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
