Green Beans With Bacon

very tasty as a side dish, or serve it cold as a salad
Ingredients:
450 g long green beans
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium red onion, finely diced
4 slices streaky bacon, diced
Directions:
1. Quickly cook the beans in a pot of boiling water for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender.
2. In another small frying pan heat the oil.
3. Fry the onion for 5 minutes then add bacon.
4. Tip out any excess fat that comes off bacon.
5. Toss the beans through the acon and onion mixture.
6. Serve immediately.
