Ingredients:
2 1/2 pounds lean ground lamb
1 large onion, diced
1 medium-size green bell pepper, diced
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried mint flakes
2 teaspoons pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; shape into a loaf, and place in a lightly greased 9- x 5-inch loafpan.
2. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Serve immediately.
