I tried this out today and it worked great. Nice light and tasty. I got 4 covered pies out of this mix.
Ingredients:
5 cups flour
1 lb lard
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4-1 cup milk
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients together and then mix in lard in chunks, using a fork or hand pastry blender.
2. Add milk.
3. Continue working with fork until just blended.
4. Roll out and fill pie plates as needed.
