Great Oatmeal Cake

I found some of my grandmother's recipies, and I wanted to put them on the Zaar before the ink fades.
Ingredients:
1 cup quick oats
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons soft butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 coconut
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9 x 13 pan.
2. Stir together quick oats and boiling water, stirring until no lumps form. Let cool onto refrigerator.
3. Beat together the sugars, eggs, butter, and eggs.
4. Then add the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
5. Blend them well, then add cooled oatmeal and blend well.
6. Bake at 350 in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
7. Frost cake while hot. Once frosted, enjoy!
