Chocolate with mint, what more can you ask for? Easy and a great after dinner dessert to settle your tummy!! A great ADULT dessert
Ingredients:
2 pkgs nabisco chocolate wafers
1-1/4 stick butter
1 cup milk
60 marshmallows large
2 jiggers of creme de cocoa
1 jigger of creme de menthe
1 pint whipping cream
Directions:
1. For the crust
2. Crush wafers into fine crumbs (use food processor is possible).
3. Melt butter and add to crumbs.
4. Pat crumbs firmly to bottom and sides of 9 x 13 baking dish.
5. Hold back 1/2 cup of crumbs for later.
6. Filling
7. Bring milk almost to a boil.
8. Add marshmallows, stirring over low heat until completely melted.
9. Let mixture cool and then add Creme de Cocoa and Creme de Menthe
10. Whip the whipping cream to firm peaks and then gently fold into marshmallow mixture.
11. Pour over crust.
12. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
13. Cover with plastic wrap or foil and put immediately into freezer.
14. Freeze 24 hours before serving.
15. When ready to serve thaw for about 30 to 60 minutes.
