Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut grapefruit into halves then carefully remove fruit.
  2. Peel off white membrane and discard seeds.
  3. Return fruit to shells then flavor each half with 1 tablespoon Curacao.
  4. Divide vanilla ice cream among the shells spreading ice cream to edges.
  5. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar then gradually beat in sugar.
  6. Continue beating until meringue is stiff.
  7. Spread over ice cream and bring meringue over cut edge of shell.
  8. Bake in preheated 450 oven for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately.
