Ingredients:

  • 1 recipe or favorite white bread dogh or use frozen bread dough
  • egg wash ( 1 egg and 1 tbsp water fork beaten together)

Directions:

  1. After preparing dough or thawing frozen dough, roll out walnut size balls of dough and shape into a bunch of grapes on baking sheet.
  2. Balls should touch each other lightly. but not pushed together as they will puff up with rising and baking
  3. This is done free form with more balls on top and less on the bottom to resemble a bunch of grapes.
  4. Cut out stems and leaves by rolling some dough out and cuting out stem and leaf shapes with your knife.
  5. Press onto top of bread balls with your fingers
  6. Brush bread with an egg wash ( or egg white and water ), sprinkle with seeds if desired and let rise double in a warm place.
  7. Bake in a 350 to 375 F oven as your basic white bread recipe instructs.
  8. Cool and tear apart the grapes and enjoy your bread !
