What a great way to start the day! These are made with my Healthy Granola Healthy Granola.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups granola cereal
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar; add eggs, milk and vanilla beating well.
4. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
5. Mix well and add to sugar mixture.
6. Stir in granola; drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are browned.
