BEST Granola!!! got this recipe from a friend and adapted it. I promise you it is soo worth it to put in the 5 teaspoons of cinnamon!!!
Ingredients:
5 cups old fashioned oats
5 teaspoons cinnamon (yes 5!)
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup honey
3/4 cup brown sugar (dark brown is best, but light brown works too)
Directions:
1. mix together oats, cinnamon, salt and pecans and set aside.
2. Melt together oil, honey and brown sugar. Do not bring to boil, just heat until sugar is melted.
3. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.
4. Spread evenly on cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10-12 min
5. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before breaking apart.
6. can add raisins after cooling. Golden raisins are the best.
