Granny's Pecan Pie

This recipe has been used for four generations by my family. Never fails.
Ingredients:
5 eggs, large
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
1 cup white karo
1 cup dark karo syrup
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cornmeal
1 -9 inch deep dish pie shell, unbaked
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Pour into pie shell.
3. Bake 300 degrees for 1 hour.
