Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 (1/4 oz) package yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Scald the milk, then add the sugar, salt, butter and let cool.
  2. In seperate bowl mix luke warm water, yeast and 1 tablespoons sugar.
  3. Stir yeast mixture into cooled milk.
  4. Add beaten egg to the milk mixture and mix in flour, do not knead.
  5. Put dough in zip lock bag and put in refrigerator overnight.
  6. The next day, roll dough out and cut into triangles, about 3 inches at the base and 5 inches high.
  7. Roll the triangle from the base to the tip and put on baking sheet to rise for about 1.5 hours.
  8. Bake at 350 for 12 to 18 minutes, or until LIGHTLY browned.
