This is the best flan I have ever tasted.. Always comes out great.

3/4 cup sugar
1 ounce water

4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and heat sugar and water in a small, heavy-duty saucepan over medium-low heat.
2. Don’t stir with spoon. Swirl saucepan for 3 to 4 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and caramel colored.
3. QUICKLY pour into bottom of a flan mold.
4. Place evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, eggs and vanilla in a blender; cover.
5. Blend until smooth.
6. Pour mixture into the prepared casserole dish (over the cooled caramel).
7. Place casserole in a 13x9-inch baking dish; fill 13x9 baking dish with warm water to 1-inch depth.
8. Bake 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
9. Remove flan from hot water.
10. Cool at room temperature in casserole on wire rack.
11. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
12. Run knife around rim; gently shake to loosen.
