Grandma Deana's Special Oatmeal Candy

It was imperative that my mom make this every year for Christmas when I was small. It remains one of my favorite Christmas treats still today. Always brings back special memories.
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups oats (instant or quick-cooking)
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in a large dutch oven.
2. Put on medium heat and bring to a boil.
3. Remove from heat and cool 1 minute.
4. Add vanilla, salt, peanut butter and oats.
5. Stir well.
6. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
7. Let cool in fridge.
