Grandma Cooks Cranberry Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 lb. grapes
  • 1/2 lb. small marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts ( nut meats as grandma put it)
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream (or 1 small tub of cool whip)

Directions:

  1. Chop cranberries in food processor
  2. Mix cranberries and sugar
  3. Let stand for apx. 1 hour
  4. Cut grapes in half, and add to mixture
  5. Add nuts
  6. Let stand overnight
  7. When ready to serve, whip whipping cream and fold it into mixture
