Gramma's Favorite Bran Muffins

My Grandmother loved these muffins. I remember her making them all the time for us when we were little! Plus, they're a healthy treat! She recommends Nabisco brand bran flakes.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup oil
2 cups milk
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
2 cups bran flakes
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix eggs, sugar, molasses, oil and milk together.
2. Tip: measure in the oil before the molasses, then the molasses will pour easier.
3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in seperate bowl.
4. Fold flour mixture into egg mixture.
5. Then fold in bran flakes.
6. Add raisins if desired.
7. Fill paper muffin cups 3/4 full and bake at 325F for 20 minutes.
