A perfect throw together meal, I make a huge pot of this and every time there is usually one one or two servings left. So easy to do! Serve with buttered bread! French-styled green beans or peas go along great with this as well! Read more ! Ingredients:
2 lbs elbow macaroni |
2.25 lbs ground beef |
6 cans of tomato sauce |
1 large onion, chopped |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. In a large sauce pan brown ground beef with chopped onion, until crumbly, drain and return to pan. Pour tomato sauce in beef mixture and bring to a slow simmer. 2. Boil noodles in salted water, drain. 3. Slowly stir noodles in with tomato sauce and beef mixture. Season to your taste and heat through-Enjoy! 4. On occasion I have thrown in some sprinkled cheddar cheese. |
