I've had many deviled egg recipes. Being from the south what other appetizer is there. ;-) I developed this after being disappointed by so many bland versions. I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
12 large/xtra large hardboiled eggs
1/2 cup real mayo
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon - substitution of bouillon cubes is okay. just break it up.
1 teaspoon ground/dry mustard
1 teaspoon sugar
1-2 tablespoon dill relish (optional, but actually taste better than it sounds so try it once)
garnish with paprika and sliced black olive. you can also put a tiny sprig of parsley to make pretty. hehe
Directions:
1. Cut the boiled egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks and place yolks in a mixing bowl.
2. Reserve your egg halves on an egg tray or platter.
3. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT dill relish with an electric mixer, blender or processor. Stir in the relish.
4. Either spoon the mixture into the egg whites or pipe it in using a pastry bag. Then garnish.
