Gooey Fudge Pie à la Mode

Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 (1.4-ounce) english toffee-flavored candy bars, chopped
4 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
fresh raspberries (optional)
Directions:
1. Bake pastry shell at 350° for 5 minutes. Set aside.
2. Combine sugar and next 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 5 minutes or until smooth. Stir in chopped candy. Pour filling into prepared pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until filling is set and pastry is golden. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
3. To serve, cut into 8 wedges and top each with1/2 cup ice cream and 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup. Garnish with raspberries, if desired.
