Ingredients:
2 tablespoon(s) canola oil
1 pound(s) lean ground beef browned
1/2 whole(s) yellow onion diced
4-6 clove(s) garlic minced
1 can(s) (large) diced tomatoes (hunt's brand)
1 can(s) 14-15 oz. diced tomatoes (hunt's brand)
2 can(s) bush's best chili beans (pinto) medium sauce
2 can(s) bush's best chili beans (pinto) hot sauce
1/4-1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
2 teaspoon(s) worchestershire sauce
1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
1/2 tablespoon(s) red pepper flakes
1/2-1 tablespoon(s) tabasco sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Heat oil in skillet over med heat. Add garlic, saute for 1 minute. Add diced onion and ground beef. Add salt and pepper and chili powder to taste.
2. Cook until meat is no longer pink (about 7-8 minutes). Remove beef from heat and drain grease.
3. While beef is cooking, add all other ingredients to slow cooker.
4. Add beef mixture to slow cooker, stir, and set to low for 8 hours (or high for 4 hours).
5. Serve with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and saltine crackers.
