Good-for-you Garlic Bread

Garlic bread for fresh garlic freaks! Seriously...
Ingredients:
good quality baguette or sourdough loaf
olive oil
raw garlic, minced or pressed
italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme, and/or rosemary)
parmesan cheese, freshly grated (optional)
(adjust amounts to number of people and individual taste)
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees.
2. Slice bread approximately 3/4 inch thick and lay slices on a cookie sheet.
3. Drizzle olive oil over each slice
4. Spread raw garlic to taste on each slice
5. Sprinkle slices with herbs and cheese
6. Bake 5-10 minutes, until you can smell the garlic and bread is turning golden.
7. If using Parmesan, you might want to broil the bread for a minute or two to brown the cheese.
