Good Eats Chocolate Chip Waffles (Alton Brown)

  1. Whisk dry ingredients (except chocolate chips).
  2. In separate bowl, whisk eggs and butter. Then add in buttermilk.
  3. Plug in waffle iron.
  4. Pour in wet ingredients and stir with a spatula. Do not overstir, the batter should be lumpy and have bubbles.
  5. Stir chocolate chips inches
  6. Let the batter sit for five minutes.
  7. Spray waffle iron with Pam spray.
  8. Pour in batter and cook.
