~ Before ye' go to 'seed'...Come Sail the Seven Seas with me ~
Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
1 box vanilla instant pudding
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup irish whiskey
4 eggs
1 cup almonds,chopped,fine
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Directions:
1. Gaze...into the eyes of that bonnie Lassie,or Laddy...as you sail on that Emerald Sea to Innisfree...
2. Glaze topper for the cake:
3. 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
4. 2 Tablespoons Lemon Jucie,fresh
5. 1 Tablespoon Irish Whiskey
6. Grease and flour Bundt pan.
7. Mix cake mix with oil,water,whiskey,and eggs,with mixer for about 4 minutes.
8. Fold in almonds,caraway seeds,and zest.
9. Pour batter in pan,bake for 50 minutes at 325 degrees.
10. Place on rack to cool for about 25 minutes,then turn out of pan and allow to cool.
11. Combine the powdered sugar,lemon juice and whiskey.
12. Place cake onto Green Depression Glass Cake stand and drizzle glaze over, allowing it to cascade down the sides of seed cake.
13. ~ Cross that bridge of beer, to that local Pub, to Chug-a-Lug ~
