A lovely breakfast of fresh apple and oats. Such tasty and healthy way to meet the day. The amount will easily double.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup diced golden delicious apple
1/3 cup apple juice
1/3 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup old fashioned oats, uncooked
brown sugar (optional)
milk (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine apples, juice, water, and spices, bring to boil.
2. Stir in rolled oats and cook till oats are cooked (about 7 mins).
3. Serve with brown sugar and milk on the side.
