Delectable! Whatever you do, eat this first, BEFORE you look at the calorie chart... that will scare you away. Ingredients:
3 lbs fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1 fresh garlic clove, minced |
1/2 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups half-and-half cream |
salt (optional) |
pepper (optional) |
3/4 lb monterey jack cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Melt butter in saucepan, add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook until liquid is gone, then stir in cream and (optional) salt and pepper to taste. Layer with cheese in 9 X 9 casserole dish. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. |
