Gluten-free ceamed chipped beef! If you crave this Ocean City breakfast favorite but can't have the regular type, there isn't any difference between this gf version and the stuff made with flour. Serve on gf toast or gf biscuits.
Ingredients:
4 ounces chipped beef, shredded
1/2 stick butter
3-4 tablespoons cornstarch - depending on how thick you like it
ground black pepper, to taste
2 cups skim milk
Directions:
1. Melt butter in saucepan, add shredded chipped beef and saute until browned and frizzled.
2. Sprinkle cornstarch over and stir well. Add milk and stir in quickly. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
3. Pour over toast or biscuits. GF for the GF person! Regular toast for those who don't need to be concerned about gluten.
