This recipe is from Tori Amos musician, singer and songwriter Very good Ingredients:
2 toung turnip peeled then havved, quartered or cut in finger size sticks (very small pice) |
4 tbsp butter |
salt |
freshly ground black pepper |
2 tbsp honey |
1/2 to 3/4 cup water |
chopped fresh basil to garnish |
Directions:
1. Places turnips in a large pot add butter, salt and pepper to taste, honey and water 2. place a lid on slightly askew 3. bring liquid to a boil over medium heat and then yurn down to low . cook for about 20mins or until the water has reduced to a thick shing glaze in the bottom of the pot and the turnips are tender 4. place the turnips in a serving dish and spoon the glaze over garnish with a little fresh basil and serve |
