Glazed Parsnips, Carrots, and Pearl Onions

Add more water, 1/4 cup at a time, if needed to make vegetables tender.
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups (1/4-inch) diagonally cut carrot
2 cups (1/4-inch) diagonally cut parsnip
2 cups frozen pearl onions (about 10 ounces)
1 cup water
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large nonstick skillet; bring to a boil. Cook 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender and liquid is slightly syrupy, stirring frequently.
