Glazed Lemon Loaf

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 grated lemon, rind of
1/2 cup chopped nuts
6 tablespoons soft butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 lemon, juice of
1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream sugar& butter until smooth.
3. Beat in eggs.
4. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
5. Fold in rind& nuts.
6. Pour into gresed loaf pan.
7. Bake 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
8. Glaze: Blend& pour over hot loaf.
9. Cool& remove from pan.
