Glazed Carrots

A great way to get kids (and adults) to eat their carrots!
Ingredients:
2 lbs carrots, baby carrots work great
1 cup water
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
black pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil.
2. Lower heat to a simmer and cover.
3. Cook until liquid is reduced to a glaze and carrots are tender, about 10 minutes.
