Very refreshing ginger drink from the BBC's Chinese Food Made Easy. Serve hot, or cold with plenty of ice.
Ingredients:
500 ml boiling water
2 cm piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
2 -3 tablespoons soft brown sugar
Directions:
1. Heat the water in a pan with the ginger. Bring to the boil then add sugar.
2. Simmer for five minutes, then strain into a cup to serve.
