Giant Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I made these for the bake sale at my kids school. They taste good and I like them because they are big. This recipe is from my Hershey collection.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup ( 1 stick) butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
16 peanut butter cups miniatures, cut into fourths
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*
2. Beat, butter, sugar and peanut butter in medium bowl until creamy
3. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
4. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
5. Add to butter mixture; blend well.
6. Drop dough by level 1/4 cups onto ungreased cookie sheets, three cookies per sheet.(Cookies will spread while baking.)
7. Push about seven pieces of peanut butter cup into each cookie, flattening cookie slightly.
8. Bake 15 to 17 min. or until light golden brown around edges.
9. Centers will be pale and slightly soft.
10. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets.
11. Remove to wire racks and cool.
