German Potato Salad

Ingredients:
3 lbs red potatoes
3 slices bacon, diced
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup water
Directions:
1. Simmer potatoes in jackets until tender; peel and slice thin. Fry bacon until crisp; add onion and cook 1 minute. Blend in flour, salt, sugar and pepper. Stir in vinegar and water. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour bacon mixture over warm potatoes. Serve warm.
