German Potato And Leek Casserole

From an ethnic recipe site: One can also sub cooked smoked turkey or other types of smoked meat in the recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes
salt, pepper
4 tbs grated cheese, more if desired
100 ml cream
40 g flour
30 g butter
200 g leeks
400 g smoked pork loin cubed ( or other smoked meat )
1 garlic clove
chopped parsley as desired
Directions:
1. Wash potatoes and cook about 15 minutes.
2. Fine chop garlic, cut washed leeks in rings, cut meat into cubes
3. Drain potatoes .
4. Cool and peel and thick slice or cut up
5. Meanwhile make a sauce by heating butter, adding flour, thinnning with cream.
6. Add the leeks, garlic, cheese and parsley to the sauce
7. Place potatoes in a caserole dish, cover with the cheese and vegetable sauce mixture.
8. Bake 200C about 15 to 20 minutes
