Garlic Meatballs With Sweet & Sour Sauce

This is a great recipe that is quick and easy and is one of those recipes that the meatballs can be made the day before, and just warmed up in the skillet the day you make the sauce. The meatballs freeze very nicely. To serve, thaw completely, then heat in the sauce.
Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef
2 garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1 cup boiling water
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. MEATBALLS:.
2. Combine all ingredients. Mix well and shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Cook over medium-high heat in skillet. Meatballs are cooked when there is no pink in the center.
3. MEATBALL SAUCE:.
4. Combine the above ingredients n a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for five minutes. Remove from heat. Add meatballs, heat on minimum for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
