Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Turnips

Ingredients:
2 pounds baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 pound turnips, peeled and sliced
8 garlic cloves, sliced
1/4 cup 2% low-fat milk
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Directions:
1. Combine the first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan; cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes or until very tender. Drain well, and return to pan; beat at high speed of a mixer until smooth. Add milk, horseradish, salt, nutmeg, and pepper; beat well. Sprinkle with chives.
