Ingredients:
1 pound green beans washed and trimmed then cut into 2” pieces
1 small white onion chopped
3 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons butter
8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Steam beans for 8 minutes.
2. Sauté onion and garlic in butter in small frying pan for 3 minutes.
3. Add tomato sauce and seasonings then cook 5 minutes more.
4. Add beans and toss thoroughly to blend flavors and heat through.
