Garlic Feta Cheese Toast

This is a great side or appetizer that really goes well with pasta and other Italian main courses. I love this because you can really switch it up to suit your liking but the basic recipe is wonderful as well!
Ingredients:
6 slices thick sourdough or choice french bread.
3 tablespoons butter
3 teaspoons garlic salt
1 1/2 cups crumbled feta cheese
1 cup olives/ tomatoes/ bell pepper/ artichoke hearts of choice (optional)
Directions:
1. Lay out bread slices on flat baking sheet and spread edges of each piece with butter.
2. In a bowl mix feta cheese and optional extra ingredients (if desired).
3. Spread feta mix on the middle and close to edges of bread slices.
4. Sprinkle all slices with garlic salt and place baking sheet in preheated broiler on hi for 5 minutes or until edges of bread is brown and feta cheese is soft.
5. Serve as appetizer or side to make a great meal!
