Ingredients:
12-ounce package frozen shelled sweet soybeans (edamame)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs or panko (japanese-style) bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Cook edamame according to package directions; drain.
2. In a large skillet cook garlic in hot oil until tender.
3. Stir in bread crumbs, walnuts, salt, and pepper.
4. Cook and stir over medium heat about 4 minutes or until crumbs and walnuts are lightly browned and crisp.
5. Stir in edamame; heat through.
